This outfit caught my eye when I saw how the casual denim shorts and button up were paired with the beautiful Hermes accessories. This is definitely a timeless outfit that you could wear for many years. I love all the neutral colors and the pop of turquoise accessories. Happy Friday!

#beSTILLbeBright
One of my favorite blogs to read each day is Brighton the Day. Brighton always has loads of inspiration for her readers. Today she launched the new campaign #beSTILLbeBRIGHT, which you can read more about here. The campaign is to help promote "the importance of practicing daily, spiritual discipline [be still and know!] as well as encourage you to live a life of truth and light [let your light shine!]." Be sure to check out the page and join the movement. In our lives today, it is sometimes a challenge to remember how important quiet time spent focusing solely on the Lord is, and I hope this campaign will help to encourage others to "be still and know" {Psalm 46:10} as well as "let their light shine"{Matthew 5:16}! Sometimes it is so easy to get wrapped up in all the materialistic objects and ideas in this world but we must always remember it is He who reigns and has given us this life to live for His glory!

Good Reads: Paris, My Sweet
I am so happy to share a wonderful new book with you: Paris, My Sweet by Amy Thomas. During a recent visit to Seaside, I found myself browsing the shelves of Sundog Books looking for a good beach read. I quickly found the "travel" section and Paris, My Sweet caught my eye with its adorable cover. The book recounts Amy Thomas's years that she spent in Paris working for Louis Vuitton (a girl's dream!) and exploring all the sweet treats in the city of love. Amy's story is so unique and engaging; it was hard for me to put the book down. I am now dreaming of taking another trip to France and venturing all over Paris to find all the amazing sweet shops Amy suggested. If you are looking for a summer read that will definitely fill your mind with sweet things, I would absolutely suggest you read this one.
